Ryan Depaulo is a professional gambler, as well as an internet sensation within the gambling community. He is active across all social media platforms and regularly engages in discussions with his audience. Ryan's claim to fame was the YouTube video he uploaded in 2018 titled, 'He hit FOUR Video Poker Jackpots in a Weekend INSANE'. This video has brought in over 80,000 views and has received a tremendous amount of user engagement on his YouTube channel.
Ryan's first gambling experience took place when he was 12 years old on a family vacation in Las Vegas. Ryan and his father Dwyane Depaulo were staying at the New York New York hotel and casino, and Dwayne gave his son a twenty dollar bill to play in the children's video arcade area. As Ryan mentions in his YouTube vlog, he took his fathers twenty dollar bill and put it in a slot machine. After placing one spin on a twenty dollar machine, Ryan triggered a minor progressive jackpot for $30,000. In the heat of the moment Ryan ran back and hid in the children's video arcade area, where he was shortly found by casino security. Ryan and his parents only received a warning from security and were not able to claim the $30,000.
Throughout the next decade Ryan considered himself as a recreational gambler. He mainly played micro-stakes poker tournaments online and small home games with friends. It wasn't until late 2016 that Ryan found a job working in IT, this allowed him to gamble on a much more regular basis. Although Ryan doesn't consider himself a professional poker player, he still has $9,281 total live earnings recorded in the Hendonmob [1]Database. His largest tournament cash was third place in the Borgota Spring Opener in April of 2018. Ryan occasionally streams himself playing online poker through his YouTube Channel.
